We impact the lives of our participants by helping them develop skills and values, fostering imagination and building friendships.  Camp may well be the last safe place for kids to just be kids.  Surrounded by giant redwoods, kids unplug from technology and plug into their outdoor world.  Rather the beats heard from a passing car with the bass up high, the sirens of a passing police car, or the constant buzz of incoming texts, campers are surrounded by sounds like the wind whistling through the trees, the laughter of other campers, and the sounds of the frogs and crickets in the evening. Instead of facing a computer screen all day, campers run, play, draw, paint, sing and enjoy new adventures with new friends.

Campers choose the majority of their activities from a menu of options including sports, crafts, archery, swimming, outdoor games, and much more.  The camp community comes together to start each day with a non-denominational chaple, and to end each day with a rousing campfire.

Camp Loma Mar is located in the town of Loma Mar, California, near Pescadero.  Our traditional camp facility features cabins with bunks that house up to twelve campers and one or two adult camp counselors.  Cabins have electricity and heat, and are near newly renovated centrally located restrooms with hot showers.  Campers enjoy 3 healthy meals each day and always have fruit available as a snack.

About our Fees

Our three-tier rate structure, based on the actual cost of camp, also addresses the needs of families with financial challenges. No paperwork or verification is required; simply select the rate appropriate for you. This information is completely confidential.

Summer Camp fees include transportation by charter bus from Richmond and Santa Rosa

  • Tier 1 reflects the full cost of sending a camper to the program selected. If you are able to pay this amount, please do. Thank you.
  • Tier 2 is a partially-subsidized rate to help families who can't afford the full cost of the camp program. Choose this rate if your family needs a partial subsidy.
  • Tier 3 represents a bigger subsidy for families who need further assistance to send a child to camp. Choose this rate if your family needs it.
