Camp Loma Mar offers a great experience to new campers and to youth who know their way around the campfire. Using age-appropriate activities and challenges, our trained, caring staff encourages campers to make new friends, experience new things and learn new skills. Alongside traditional camp activities like hiking, crafts and sing-alongs, we teach values and skills that will make a positive difference in campers’ lives for years to come. Days and nights are packed with fun and safe outdoor activities, ending with a time of reflection before lights out. Campers work together on the climbing wall, hike the beautiful trails and perform their own skits at campfire. Each day, youth campers get to choose their own activities during two periods.
“The best thing about camp is the way it makes me feel like I belong to something. I can just let go and totally be myself and know that I will be accepted.”
Veronica Rylander, former camper

YMCA MEMBERSHIP
A current YMCA membership is needed before your child can attend Camp Loma Mar. Basic membership costs $35 for a year. Members may participate in YMCA programs such as sports programs and swim lessons, in addition to camp. If your child has a valid membership at another YMCA, you do not need to purchase an additional membership. Simply send a copy of their card or membership verification with their registration.
